WHAT IS HOLISTIC FITNESS?

Holistic fitness is an approach to health that encompasses the entire person, interior and exterior. By focusing on all facets of the human makeup - not just the physical appearance - we can achieve true health and happiness.

Why We Believe in Holistic Health -

Too often, there is an unhealthy correlation between exterior appearance and the true health of an individual; when we think of someone who is fit and in shape, we think of the size of one’s waist, the numbers that they put up in the gym, how far they can run or countless other metrics designed to measure the ability of the human body.

But does that exterior-centric approach make us happy?

Maybe to an extent, but focusing on how we look alone ignores the other aspects of personal health that are extremely important to the “complete person”. By taking a holistic approach, we work the physical aspect of personal health in within its four other brethren - emotional, social, spiritual and intellectual.

As a coach, Nikki has been educated on how to create and implement an approach to physical health that also helps address the other four aspects through modern healthy nutrition practices, workouts designed to improve and strength the body’s natural movements, and a schedule that proliferates a fun and positive atmosphere for working out.
